Farmhouse Garden Animal Home is located on the traditional territory of the Mississaugas of Scugog Island First Nation. We honour and respect that the Indigenous peoples were the original stewards of these lands, and that they were not asked to cede their territory. As part of our mission to foster love and compassion for all, it is important to recognize the role all settlers had in robbing Indigenous people of their culture and land in order work towards truth and reconciliation.

NOTE: The sanctuary is located on an actively working farm for organic vegetables. As such, it is not open to the public except on scheduled visiting days.
